Being Calm Physically or Morally
We are proud to present our project Acougo de Pitasana, a magical corner where life flows in a sustainable way, in harmony with nature. Here you’ll find a refuge where the land gives us its fruits, and animals become friends.
Acougo de Pitasana is a rural coliving and coworking space in Asturias, northern Spain. Private en-suite rooms and studios, with work areas (“offices”), a terrace with a café-library, and a meeting/presentation room. A place where you can stay and work on your project while enjoying the company of interesting people, food from the garden, and a home-like atmosphere. Located in a village of 480 inhabitants, just ten minutes from our farm.
You can meet visitors from all over the world: entrepreneurs, educators, digital nomads, designers, photographers, programmers, neighbours, artisans, musicians, students, change-makers, lawyers, families in search of nature — all within a welcoming and friendly environment.
NATURE AND FARM EXPERIENCES
At our sustainable farm, we believe in the importance and benefits of reconnecting with nature. That’s why we invite you to take part in our outdoor activities, follow the rituals each season brings, and experience self-care retreats or workshops we design in collaboration with local artisans.
DISCOVER OUR ACCOMMODATION AND COWORKING
We’ve lovingly restored three charming houses to offer you full accommodation options — from a coliving and coworking space where community and shared living intertwine, to short-term stays for those seeking a magical getaway in the heart of nature.
Every corner of our houses reflects the warmth of our surroundings and the authenticity of rural life.
ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL IN A TRANSFORMED CHICKEN COOP
Every year, we host an arts festival in what was once a modest chicken coop. In this transformed space, creativity and expression find their home. Music, art, theater, and community come together in an event that unites people and celebrates life in the countryside. The idea comes from the desire to share that the village is, for many of us, the best place to live — in a sustainable, diverse, rich, and vibrant natural environment — and to truly walk toward that horizon. Art has always been part of our lives, and therefore part of our life project, as well as our wish to raise awareness among future generations.
It’s a meeting place for different generations and a diversity of artistic disciplines — an example of the potential of the countryside and its people. A place to inspire hope and excitement.
The goal is to give visibility to rural life and advocate for villages in all their aspects: culture, art, gastronomy, their people, and ways of life.
